I'm at the gate in front of my plane, time to wait for two hours until they open the doors to the bird

This trip will hit quite a few personal records: first flight in a Boeing aircraft, first time on the US West coast, longest flight yet (nearly 12h), furthest distance I've ever been from home (OVER 9000 km), biggest time zone change (9 hours)...

I keep seeing those Kroger ads on TV with the uncanny corporate animation with the people dances because they saved money, and it generates a visceral feeling of disgust every time it comes on screen.

It ranks 2nd on my list of least favorite ads, falling behind only that cursed Grubhub ad.
