This... was very long.
I was driving the rental truck and my mom and stepfather were in their suv.
The last hour was the most interesting, we were arriving in the Alps and it had been snowing a bit. The snowploughs had cleared and salted the roads, but I was still driving a 2.5 Ton rwd truck filled to the brim with stuff, on mountain roads, with no winter tires or snow chains with a cozy 1°C outside. Fun.
At least the landscape is pretty!

One thing that I find absolutely wheezingly hilarious about America (but in no way do I shame the existence of) is the sheer amount of candy in American pharmacies. I'm not sure if it was just Walgreens or if this was pharmacies in general, but I recall aisles of confectionary goodness lining the further left side of the store.

Something about a store stocking both the problem AND the solution is funny to me, it's like they know how to keep their customers coming back. Talk about job security XD
