Either Kim Chi-Ha, or Seamus Heaney. Kim wrote during a time in Korean history in which dictatorship seemed to be on the rise (similar to American McCarthyism) and Heaney wrote at a period of Irish history in which the dissonance between the north and south Ireland was at it's worst.
TUBM knew there was a difference between North and South Ireland before reading this post?
Ooh: the Voya Nui Online Game! The one that used to be on the Bionicle website before the Glatorian saga prompted a full redesign ().
Fortunately, somebody ripped it from the site before it got taken down, implemented an offline save function, and linked to it on the Bionicle wiki. I am in nostalgia heaven, and not disappointed!!
TUBM also recently had a chance to relive a part of their childhood?
So my icon for both the forums and a couple other things I do is pure nostalgia. It is the icon of my faction from the defunct MMORPG Lego Universe which I still think is in the top five games I've ever played if not the number 1. I also happened to hear someone playing the music from it the other day.
TUBM likes top 5 lists as much as Rob Gordon (from High Fidelity)?
Korea, hands down. Fast WiFi, StarCraft on TV, amazing traditional culture as well as modern popculture. I'm proud to be of claim to its ethnicity, though I can't speak Hangul as well as I'm ready to admit ^^;
Definitely not! But my family used to have a chihuahua who looked just like their old mascot, and we would take her in the Taco Bell drive-thru with us sometimes. I got her when I was like 4, and I named her "Nacho"... I was trying to name her "Taco," but I got them mixed up
Yeah, they're pretty cool. Except for the ones here. Worst trees on earth, hands down. Look ugly, attract pest birds, and drop leaves, pods, and GIANT FREAKIN BRANCHES THAT POSE A THREAT TO YOUR LIFE AS THEY FALL 30 FEET FROM THE SKY.
I wish we had maple trees instead ;-; those are cool.
TUBM has an ambitious project they keep putting off?
