...in some timezones.
Also known as Exvulneruno de Mayo (we'll see if that catches on).
On May 1st, seven years ago, I decided to start drawing this undertaking of a story, then left it on the back-burner for a while while I wrote a giant novel (a long one, not one about giants), and then recommitted myself to the comic when I decided to treat this like my full-time job in 2015. Here we are about 2 and a half years later, and I'm celebrating EdM with all of you, and things are going great :'D
First, a note to forum members:
When my husband mentioned the idea of starting a forum a number of months ago, I didn't jump at the idea. I wanted a community like this, sure--always intended to eventually have one!--but I didn't think that there would be enough interest to get anything substantial happening. Turns out, I was wrong, and this place is really awesome! I don't even have to bribe people to post!
For many of you, Exvulnerum may only take up a few minutes of time for you each week. The forums might be a place that you drop in every once in a while to see what's going on. That's perfectly okay! But for me, Exvulnerum--and by extension, this forum--takes up the *majority* of my time spent awake, and so seeing this community grow and seeing all of you interesting, kind, and silly people post here honestly adds so much joy to my life, and I'm extremely grateful that this place exists and that y'all want to be a part of this thing! You guys seriously rock, and I appreciate every single one of you!!! If the comic's readership continues to expand with the same quality of people as you all, I'll be the happiest and luckiest content creator on the Internet
Okay, but on to the announcement!
Exvulnerum is a long story, and we still have yet to get to the really good stuff, so I'm going to start tinkering with the update schedule.
We're moving from "Updates Monday & Friday" to "Updates Frequently" as you can see in the fresh banner on the main site.
What does that mean, exactly? Well, for one thing, you can expect to get at least as many updates as the 2x weekly mode we've been in (unless I'm taking a week off for a good reason, which isn't any different than before, either). But beyond that...? Well, WE SHALL SEE, READERS. WE SHALL SEE. PREPARE YOURSELVES.
Another thing I'm going to change is that I'm only going to update the RSS feed once a week, so the best way to stay on top of the updates as they happen is to visit the main site often or to watch the "Update Discussion Thread" here on the forums.
But that's enough rambling. Let's cut to the chase. I think we're supposed to have a text-based dance party?
Here's my music contribution:
