I have these situations that people (at work) come ask me for help or support.
For some reason they see me as someone who either knows stuff or can figure out the stuff.
Ok.

But the recent trend is that someone comes ask me after they got some bulls**t answer form AI which doesn't make sense, doesn't work, ...
So the starting point of discussion is undoing the AI mess.

Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh, AI isn't I.

Got some feedback from the leadership team that left me really demoralised. Now I'm in the horrible limbo period where I decide whether I suck it up because I'm conflict averse and don't like to cause trouble or whether I finally stand up for myself and tell them truthfully how they've made me feel. Fun. Nice of them to save it for whilst I'm working from home with a virus to try to keep the rest of the team healthy too.

So what started as--as far I know anyway-- replacing the pipe for our shower drain, turned into renovating the entire shower and the bathroom floor.

It's been a struggle. I've been having to go down to the gym to take a shower for the past week, but everything will likely be finished tomorrow!
But oh, wait.... they did the floor today.... they unhooked the toilet..... we can't step on the tiles (or thus, put back the toilet) for like several hours, and by that time it'll be well past midnight.
But they're coming back in the morning.
So in total, like no toilet for like 12+ hours.

I get up to pee like 3x a night idk what I'm gonna DO
My BFs mom said we are gonna have to use the litter box like the cats and I can't tell if she was joking about that or not

Update, we've rented a hotel room for the night. It's already 10 pm and we both work in the morning so we don't even get to enjoy the view or amenities or anything but at least there's a toilet

unironically not a bad idea, depending on what litter you use (shameless petstore clerk plug). Best would probably be either crystal litter or clumping clay. Heaven help you if you have paper litter.

Spoke to my manager and director today. It was scary, but I feel better for letting them know how this made me feel and getting some proper clarity on what they meant (which wasn't as bad as I though).

I requested a refund on a purchase I made accidentally, and it's cascaded into the ultimate Bad End scenario where I'm locked out of my main bank account for being suspected of fraud and now must visit the SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION to get things sorted out

I finally made it in to the social security office yesterday and was helped by a nice lady Going there is one of my worst fears so I'm thanking the Lord it got resolved in one visit.

Aldi Mobile customer service is a stinking pile of garbage.

No refunds on an unused Family plan? All the customer service representatives are outsourced to offshore call-centers? My CS Rep hung up on me because I dared argue with her that I was the owner of my own phone plan, just because my dad bought it when I was in highschool and transferred it to me when I started paying for it myself.

Not to mention they silently raised prices recently and I didn't find out until last week.

Earlier this month a spoke in the rear wheel of my bicycle got broken
with a loud noise!
which seemed even louder in an underground parking where this happened.
Luckily, I had a spoke with correct length at home
(leftover from disassembling some wheel)
So I replaced it.
Only the wheel needs to be readjusted to be straight again.
Also there are some other things to fix or change in this bike.
I wanted to start performing actions last weekend
but instead I visited my family.

So in the meantime I have been using my second bicycle.
But today
when going home in the late evening
I hit really hard a hole in the road
which I didn't notice because of snow.
Now this bike also has at least 1 broken spoke in the rear wheel
maybe more, I didn't inspect too much because it was cold and dark.
the wheel instantly deformed from being straight
so that it barely avoided colliding with the frame
(I had to readjust it's position to avoid the collision,
and still the tire was rubbing a bit against the frame so I also removed some air to avoid tire damage because of this)
I got home, but now both my my bikes are not usable.

So now I will have to quickly do the wheel in the first bike.
I wanted to wait with this to do all work at that bike at once, but now I have to do it first.
But I don't have time for this now!

The broken spoke on the today's damaged wheel is on the right side so I will have to remove the gears as well.
And if I remember correctly, these gears require some old non-standard key to remove which I don't have
so I will have to visit the bike shop for this.

I also don't have a wheel available for temporary replacement
(but I have multiple front wheels)

Tomorrow I will probably go to work with a city bike.
(actually, the city bike renting is the main reason why I use a smartphone even though I don't like smartphone)

Bicycle is my main method of relocation since 2007

but it's a very rare situation that I have only 2 bikes available and both are damaged at the same time.
