Two days until end of military training, ceremony and all !
Finally !

CONGRATULATIONS!! How long have you been in military training?

 

[Val]

It's complicated.
Normally, it's supposed to be 4 months.
I signed in November last year.
But then brother-in-law happened to my left ankle, and I couldn't practice sports for several months, so I was put in 'standby', basically I was doing nothing all day.
Then when the medical center said I could, I went back to the training.
All of it plus a few holidays here and there sums to 11 months.
And that's just the basic military training. Now I have a few weeks of waiting, then I'll begin the specialization (have no idea how you spell that), which will also last 4 months.

Wow. That's a long wait.

What field do you want to specialize in?

I'm excited because I'm finally looking at the Cassini Sattelite data dumps for the first time and they're astounding.
