Apparently the vast majority of views are coming from recommendeds. I suppose I must have appeased the algorithm in some way?

Ha, I was carefully checking out those chairs to see if you'd done something Escheresque with parts going over or under where they shouldn't be able to. Nice chairs!
That would be cool, and very possible 🤔

It's still really rough, but I did put a lot of effort into this.

A quick description in case my sketchy sketches are too sketchy for you to read, the protagonist (Shenandoah) enters a small settlement called Colmes carrying a water filtration device, warranting the excitement of the townswoman who hired him to retrieve it from a neighboring settlement. The story overall is still a bit rough, but it ties back to my concept for Avast!, which I still havent forgotten about but I'm still working some things around with it.

After working on a commission, I felt inspired to go back to my roots, only to find out that drawing in a more 'realistic' style (i.e. actual knees and elbows and perspectives instead of my usual noodle limbs and family-guy-esque flat scenes) was harder than a thought. That said, I'mglad to get more work done on passion projects in between my commitments.

Sometimes I forget that Realistic art (or at least realistic proportions) is not my strong suit, and I'm noticing now that almost every artwork I've been exceptionally happy with is usually the ones that more closely resemble cartoons.

This here is me messing around with one of my characters, Shenandoah, one of the main characters of a project I've not been giving as much attention to as I should've. In my head he's always been a bigger dude, but I think it fits his backstory better (and story for that matter) to make him sorta lanky.

I was aiming for that sort of 2003 grunge animation look, like Gorillaz, or the original Teen Titans to some degree, though I'm not super satisfied with the eyes. Every project I've done so far has used solid simple eyes, which while it's easier to consistently draw, sorta restricts expression.

I just finished making an animation for my story, which took multiple hours to make and I'm happy with the result!
I realised that I might actually post it here
as it did take much effort and time to make.

I'm putting it into a spoiler because technically it's from a page not published yet.
But it's not really an actual spoiler unless you consider the design and appearance of a robot to be a spoiler.
