HELLO PEOPLE,
So the Daily Disqus Dive Team Challenge thread has been running for about half a year now, and it's been a lot of fun seeing the dedication of its participants, spinning the lucky wheel, and drawing some art!
It has, though, stagnated a bit, with participation dwindling rather than growing--and I know that is because the forum activity is low in general right now--but I wanted to start a thread to collect feedback about the game to try and make it better and stronger!
So, general comments, feedback, and suggestions are welcome, but here are some additional questions you may answer if you feel inclined:
1. If you haven't joined Disqus Dive, why not?
2. If you have participated in Disqus Dive, what do you like about it? What do you dislike about it?
3. Do you enjoy the wheel spins?
4. Do you think the "Teammate 1 picks X and Teammate 2 picks Y" prompt system for exclusive art is a good incentive to participate?
5. Are teams fun or stressful?
6. Is the game confusing?
Answering any or all of the questions is highly appreciated!!!
I've also been toying with the idea of doing away with the 2-person team system and replacing it with character-based teams. Team Amber, Team Evey, etc... When a character-based team wins the wheel spin, I can immediately start on the exclusive art of said character without having to wait for the winning team members to choose their preferences for the prompt. The pro would be that the art would probably get finished faster, and teams can be larger than 2 people which might eliminate some pressure (if there is any) about joining a team and being reliable. The con would be that there wouldn't be as much of a chance to influence the art in a unique way like we do with the prompts. --Thoughts on this?
