Reading this in the other thread:
FINALLY made me connect the facts and understand this part:

I can and will jump out of any window that is garunteed to not cause any lasting damage. This includes landing pads, videogames, 1st floor windows, and jumping from tall buildings with a terrible curse that functionally renders me invincible.

at first I thought
wait, that is not safe from damage
then I remembered that you are counting the floors starting the ground
so 1st floor is the one directly on the ground.
