But that will not add a sense that you could die. You have a much less chance of death if you can just think up a way out. If you have to roll, you will take much smaller risks. It will add tension and caution to the story.
wherever badguy attacks. (body/left leg.....) he/she hits good guy and harms good guy enormously. You need to be thinking about these things if you want your RPG to have a succsesful combat system
Say Evil person attacks good person with a sword. Evil person rolls a 17/20 defending person rolls a 16/20 ,however, because defending person is on a hill he/she gets a +1 to their defencive roll. so he/she barly blocks the attack. Lets say evil guy rolls a 20/20 and good guy rolls a 1/20,
So, this RPG seems like an interesting consept, however, what is your method of handling conflict? Surly, you don't expect to assassinate people and claim the throne without resistance? If your party is attacked, how will you resolve it? Will you simply say "I shoot them and now they are dead". Because then your RPG will have no tension or drama. Do you use a dice system?
